Why God why?
This is a common question uttered by many when it comes to the difficulties of life. What if the common view as to why bad things happen does not paint an accurate picture of God? Would you want to know the truth concerning this matter? Think of it this way: we cannot look at God as being the source of our problems (He allowed or caused our problems, pain, and suffering) but also look to Him as being the solution to the same problems.
After all, the Bible says we have an enemy (the thief) who has come to steal, kill, and destroy. The words of John 10:10 refer to Satan but he could not be spoken of as a thief if God allowed him to do anything at all. I invite you to listen with openness to the voice of God and the Holy Spirit. Before you begin reading I encourage you to ask God to show you the truth. Ask Him to reveal to you if what you are about to read is an accurate snapshot of who He really is and how He really does and does not work.
Remember, Jesus was the express image of God (Hebrews 1:3) and never did anything that He did not see His Father (God) doing (John 5:19). Jesus did not allow or cause pain, poverty, sickness, or suffering in the life of any person at any time.
