Was at dinner at the local pizza buffet tonight. I am friends with the manager at this one location near our house. As I was getting my pizza, he came up to me, somewhat shaken, and told me that a man was lying on the floor in the bathroom unable to move due to kidney pain. So, I went into the Men’s room and found him lying on the floor in the handicapped stall. I told him that I was a minister for healing, and that I can make his pain die off. He asked me how I would go about it and agreed. He was telling me that he has kidney disease, and that he gets attacks of pain that can last quite some time, and that he has to lay perfectly still to deal with them.
So, both of us are on the floor in the Men’s room, of all places, and I am commanding the pain to stop. After one round, he gets a surprised look and says that its starting to get better. Second time, he looks at me and says that its almost gone. From there, I help him up, and he tells me that the prayer really helped and that the pain had stopped. He was feeling strong enough to get up and get home.
Once he got to his feet, I prayed for his kidneys a third time for restoration. He lifted his shirt and showed me a dialysis pump that he wears, and that it causes him a lot of pain. He said he felt a “comforting warmth” as I ministered healing to him. I made sure he was OK, he gathered his stuff, we exchanged goodbyes and he walked out of the restaurant as normal.
The manager, taken aback by all of this, eventually asks me for spiritual advice for his life and career. God gave me privilege to minister His healing and show love to someone in pain, and later to edify someone who is searching for more. It troubles me as to how many people would have just walked away, deferred responsibility to someone else or felt helpless as to what to do? In doing so, two opportunities would be missed. This is an example of bringing the heat, and demonstrating the power of the Kingdom!! I am so grateful to God for times like these, and that I am authorized to do His work.
Please understand, I am nobody special and I don’t intend to portray myself as such. I don’t possess any special gifts or special anointings. I carry Jesus’ anointing and the single-most powerful gift known as the Holy Spirit. What I have is what you already can/could have as well, should you only wish to have it. God and I are a team and we labor together for things like these these. Ministry doesnt matter when, where or even why, you just go and do it, because its your job to do!! I don’t have to beg Him for revival…because of Him, I AM REVIVAL!! Totally grateful tonight and on fire for Him!! Once again, BOOM GOES YESHUA!!!
