Busy ministry week thus far, and still more to go. Been driving all over town, and putting in a lot of miles. Been seeing fevers stop, emotional chains break, addictions fade, pain die off, and tonight got a wonderful update from a young lady whose healing continues to manifest. Visited a friend and his family at the hospital tonight and ministered using not only with healing authority, but with both the prophetic and a very accurate word of knowledge that confirmed our work tonight. Been a lot of fun, and very exciting. Amazing to see how the power of God grows, the more you use it.
I was always told that you had to grow the fruits of the Spirit first, before God counted you “worthy” enough to give you the spiritual gifts. But that’s not how He works. He gives you power immediately because, as far as He is concerned, you’re worth it immediately. Not to mention that there is work to be done. Gifts are the burst of power that get you off the ground. Renew the mind to who you are, and what your rights and privileges are in Christ, and the fruit automatically grows as does the power in you. Eventually, you reach a place where the gifts drop away, and you simply just walk in fullness. At this point you heal, because it becomes your nature. You love and care for others because it becomes your nature. You step in and be a game-changer because it becomes part of your nature.
Don’t let people talk you in the old covenant mindset that you have to do good works to get good rewards, or that you have to meet certain conditions to receive God’s favor. From the start, you’re blessed, and all of these things are added to you. Once you realize who you are, what you have in you, and make a decision to walk in it, you cant help but have the goodness of God pour out of you automatically and have it change your life in turn. We teach this principle backwards, then wonder why no so few see the intended results.
I tell you this because over this last week, I have had to heal, prophecy, use wisdom, faith, authority, etc and it was all depending on the circumstance and the need. You have to be fully prepared to flow wherever the need is and handle it accordingly. Jesus wasn’t a one-trick pony, and neither should you be. Many people served this week, and I am grateful to serve as I do…Boom Goes Yeshua, baby!
